The Contest is divided in two parts:
A preliminary phase and a final phase

The preliminary phase is an essay that the three contestants have to write as a team. - Only one essay per team. The essay will be delivered by the US postal service to all participating churches in the 2nd week of Jan. 2007. The deadline to hand back the essay is Feb. 25 2007.

An identical copy of the essay must be dropped at our digital mailbox at www.sebel.org/challenge … no later than 11:59PM on the due date. No essay will be accepted after the due date.

The Final phase will take place on March 31 2007 at ABC place at 6:00 PM sharp. Art, Religion and Science will be the three subjects of focus. The results of the Final will be announced on the same day.

A total of ten prizes will be offered:

1st Team winner----------------------$900.00 + 3 Laptops

2nd Team winner---------------------$600.00 + 3 Digital Organizer

3rd Team winner----------------------$300.00 + 3 MP3 Player

And 5 prizes of $150.00 per team to the next five best essays.

The winning team will have its essay posted on our website and many other websites, along with their pictures. The winning team will also be featured in a special program called “Meet the SEBEL Champion Team 2007” on our TV show “Konesans Se Riches”, which will be aired in NY and NJ. The entire show will be dedicated to the team.

The contest will be preceded by a magnificent concert featuring some of the best artists and entertainers in the Christian community. (Haitian Mass Choir, Frere Limage, Ti Bob, The Kevin Parlor Band etc.)

The SEBEL Challenge is a free contest. To participate, just fill out the application form, have it signed by the proper authority of your church and return it to us no later than Dec. 15 2006.
